US Airforce video shows unprotected and protected fuel tanks being shot at
Dramatic footage of how a plane that exploded in Iraq could have been saved with proper equipment has been shown at an inquest into the deaths of its crew.
The Wiltshire inquest has heard that the RAF Hercules C-103k plane was not fitted with explosion-suppressant foam.
The 10 servicemen died in 2005 when their Hercules blew up after its fuel tank was hit by enemy small arms fire. _________________
JESUS a F1 car has better protection than a C130 plane over flying over a hostile area.
When will they get the priority rite that all the TROOPS be it in the AIR or on the Ground need the best protection that money can buy.
What would it have cost to fit the tanks out with that expanding FOAM
A Damb site less than a C130 and all 10 lives thats for sure.
I can imagene that the Famly's are haveing a hard time NOW after seeing that Video And My thought's and prayes are with them.
To think that the Government cut corners ON SAFTY foam may be because of the COST to instal it is outrages.
Or was they onder the impression that the IRAK'S would NOT Fire on a RAF C130 with small arms fire.
They was wrong,

It is sad whenever we hear of one life let alone ten or more lives being lost in any conflict, but to learn that their deaths were caused by negligence on the Governments behalf is scandalous!
Before any one or any peice of equipment is sent to war it must pe fully prepared with all neccasary protection it deserves and warrants. We have the best fighting force in the world but it seems we are the worst equiped!!
Time people woke up and got out of their Ivory towers!!!!
