A lesbian soldier who won a sexual discrimination case against the Ministry of Defence is seeking twice the compensation awarded to service personnel wounded in action, it has been revealed.
Lance Bombardier Kerry Fletcher is demanding £400,000 after she was pestered for sex by the unnamed sergeant, who she claimed was a known womaniser.
The 32-year-old is claiming damages due to stress and hurt feelings as well as loss of earnings after a tribunal ruled she had been subjected to a campaign of sexual harassment by a male sergeant. |

Some one has hurt her feelings and she thinks she should get more fior her hurt feelings than a wounded soldier that has lost a number a limbs. They should give her rifle and stick her out in the font lines in Afghanistan and let her win her award the hard way _________________

i might appear to be a bit old fashioned but i believe the worst thing any govt has done to our armed forces is to allow women into the ranks alongside men, i truly think things were much better when the womens corps were in existence, listening to young serving nephews i know , they all say the women in the ranks cause more trouble than any of the men , i am told that there are quite a few punchups in the naafi over the girls , that is something i never saw in any naafi in my time, in big camps where there were wrac and wraf girls, i never saw a punch up in the naafi. even in the cookhouse regimental dances , we had the wrac quaranc, and wraf girls present but all had a good time, the naafi was somewhere to relax not punch someones head in , i wonder if any ladies of the above could be on the site what would be their response, happy days they were, ginger jim, |

She is a disgrace to the uniform of the Armed Forces. She has no feelings for those serving in iraq, afgan, all she wanted was healthy bank balance. _________________

back in my day we obviously had the likes of the WRAC girls, working in the stores or driving the CO about, but that was their limit, now of course they seem to be more and more at the thick of things? now how I would feel about relying on a Girl to back me up in a firefight I dont know?
I ell remember the nights in the Naafi or whatever/ and the only fighting you would have, would be where one of the "Girls" having a spat against one of her mates who had stolen her "Girlfriend?" if u get my drif |

This was a regular occurrence when I was at Donnington in the very early 70s, I used to run the Disco in the Families Club, and you could guarantee Saturday night about 11pm, a couple of the "Girls" would be slugging it out for the favours of some sweet young thing?? |
