Obviously some of the things that went over there were not all "official" i would hate to think of anyone doing this kind of thing? but who can say? Things happen in a war situation, but this is not the done thing as it were/ |

we only have the iraqi mans word for what happened , and as we all know the iraquis are not all angels. it seems to be the done thing , the p c british lawers taking the cases for these people , winning hugh awards becouse the govt wont defend the cases properly, then everybody jumps on the bandwagon, its the taxpayers money the govt is giving away in some rather dodgy law suites , we might save money just pulling out of these stupid money and life wasting wars that crawler bliar started with bush , ginger jim, |

Got to agree that we DONT know what went on? and whilst i agree that the Lawyers tend to go for the big bucks in any way possible, I have know doubt that at times our lads were not exactly whiter than white? Okay perhaps under provocation? but is that acceptable at any cost?
I was out in Kenya at the time of the Mau Mau. they did some cruel things and we did some also? likewise in Aden, remember "Mad MItch"? so this could be true? My argument is, why cant our lads or their Families take action against the respective Governments when soldiers are maimed or killed? you dont see the Rich fat cat lawyers fighting each other to taker on their cases. |
