I know that the Power companys have to keep a eye on th amount of power needed just at that time.

I sort of guessed you were in Holland Ram, in my Over50s Forum i have a lady member who also lives in Holland?
I read somewhere that especailly as you say in the evenings when Coronation Street has it's Advert break the power surge is immense, so probably you just got your TV Soaps mixed up>?  |

| i dont really want to sound big headed , but surely how can people watch these soaps,when people even just talk about them it makes me cringe, it seems to me that people are being brainwashed by the t v companies with all the junk they are turning out.its not only the soaps, i tried watching the tudors on bbc 2 but thats just as bad, they portray henry the eighth as a dark haired little wimp , when henry was really six feet four tall , and red haired, and a big geezer to boot, i just gave up watching all this trash, does nobody watch documentarys anymore , all these wonderful wildlife programs, and the archeology digs everywhere, michael palin , david attenborough , old mother reilly . these are the real stars, soaps i would pull the plug on them if i had my way, awaiting the flak with interest, jim, |

No Flak coming from my Direction Jim? no way i am with you on this, in fact if I had my way i would get shot of the box all together/ I seldom if ever watch it? when I do it is normally under duress?
I spend most of my time on here, I do get lumbered to watch normally if having a meal out in the Dining area, the TV can be seen from there,
I am very particular over what programmes I would choose to watch and certainly the likes of the Wildlife ones are up there with the best? Have been following Peter Snow on Freeview with his "Battlefields" programme? very enjoyable. |
