Just to let you know I started my over 50s forum last November, for a month or so I had 12 members, but I stuck at it, In February this year i had over 120 members, BUT most of them never posted, so I culled them down to 48, I at this moment am back up again to 115, out of them about 40 post regularly. So stick in there mate, hopefully it will take off.
if I can help in any way let me know?

I still say that you are better with a dozen dedicated members posting regularly that 100 NOT posting.
It is up to us the members to make sure that this forum is made intersting enough for others to want to join also,

Since i opened this forum i spend a lot of my time searching for new's stories that is suitable for the forum. Every forum is different take the RAOC one that is made up to where most members know each other, as its one unit the RAOC, where as this one the members do not know each other.

Totally agree with you, I run an over 50s forum, and we have a wide variety of topics, but even then you have to work at keeping members interested, I know what you are going through.
Regards the RAOC forum, whilst being an ex RAOC members, I dont know many on there at all, i think i have come into contact with only two people who remember me?(obviously my personality let me down??LOL)
I was just wondering in order to gain more members from the various Forces network? is there any way that you could get a mention in their various Magazines? Surely there must be loads of people who would love to come on and chat about anything and everything, this is one of the things I like about this forum, you are not tied to a particular branch of the forces?
