In the U.S. it will either be Barack Obama or John McCain – neither appears to be an effective choice. |

If I could VOTE OBAMA for me
McCain is a bit like BUSH a WAR man SARA
and a black President would be GOOD for the US as the blacks have had it bad over the years.
What would Martin Luther KING think of this NOW, A black man with his FOOT on the steps to the white HOUSE.
I think he would be pleased. _________________ ex RAF |

I will not vote based on race. That would equate to racial discrimination - irrelevant if I voted black or white.
If Martin Luther King is pleased, I hope it is because Obama proves to be the more qualified candidate and not simply because he is black. Otherwise, King would be relishing in nothing more than reverse discrimination.
I don’t find either candidate particularly attractive. The issues at hand are immense and unfortunately they will take considerable time to resolve, probably more than just one presidential term. |

Hear, Hear Sara, I think when you get to stage of electing candidates on the colour of their skin, then things have reached a sad state of affairs.
I have read and listened whenever possible to both of these people, and must say i would also vote for Obama, were I in a position to, NOT because of his colour, but I like his attitude, I think he has the ability to make a good President, whether the American people agree? remains to be seen. |

What the USA needs is PRESIDENT that can clean the mess up Tht BUSH has made.
Get the Health system Sorted OUT and STOP all the law Suits that just make EAZY money for some one, that is to lazy to go and earn it the HONEST way.
We had a Buik Regal till the price of GAS made us sell it and the ROAD TAX . The book was just full of warnings just SO a person could not take out a LAW suit On GM if they did some thing wrong.
As for the Martin Luther KING thing Its just because he had a dream and
This is realy close to what he had in MIND SARA.
But like I said for me its Obama not that he is black because he Might be the person to get the USA on the right road again.
Plus he is playing HONEST from what I see her in The Netherlands.
It may be the press just showing it but thats what they say
You in the USA may have a diffrent picture ON it.
There are only 2 to chose from So you dont have a lot to chose FROM
Who every it IS he has a BIG cleaning task ahead and I wish HIM lots of luck. _________________ ex RAF |
