Post subject: What did you do in the War daddy? |

We are publishing ten articles by noted historian Andrew Roberts analysing key themes of the conflict, and also republishing stories from our paper and video archives.
A central part of the Telegraph project, though, is asking our readers what they remember, so that we can build a bank of memories that will enhance our understanding of the past. We hope to collect as many memories as possible and preserve this invaluable insight into wartime Britain.
What do you remember? Were you fighting overseas or evacuated as a child? Did you live through the Blitz or rationing?
Whatever you remember, no matter how big or small it is, we want to hear it. Please use the comment box below. Alternatively, you can write to us at Britain at War, Telegraph Media Group, 111 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W ODT. |
